1250°C Max. High Vacuum Chamber Furnace for 4" Sample - VBF-1200X-HV

VBF-1200X-HV is a compact high vacuum furnace for samples up to 4" x 4" x 4". It comes with a one-end-open quartz chamber and Kanthal resistance heating wires for internal heating. The chamber is free of porous materials and high vacuum compatible. It can reach 10-6 torr via an optional turbopump.

SPECIFICATIONS

  •  208 - 240 VAC / 50/60Hz, Single-phase (a 20 A receptacle is required. )
  • 3 kW max. 
  • Note Power cable included without a plug.
  • An optional power plug is available upon request. 


Working Temperature

  • ≤ 1200 °C continuously

  • Max. 1250 °C, < 30 min
  • Heating Rate: ≤ 20°C/ min

Heating Elements and Heating zone
  • Ni-Cr-Al resistance coil on a sintered ceramic sleeve
  • Multi-layer layers of Mo reflection plates for thermal uniformity.

Quartz Vacuum chamber

  • Chamber size size: Ø9" ×Ø8.5"×H13.4" (Ø230×Ø220×H325 mm)

  • Heating zone: Ø130 mm x H 166 mm
  • Maximum sample size: 100 x 100 x 100 or Ø100×H100 within +/- 5°C
  • Optional: 11"OD x 10.6"ID x 15"H quartz chamber with 5" Dia x 5" heating zone is available .
Ports
  • KF50 or DN63 ISO flange for turbo pump
  • KF25 port for electric feedthrough.
  • 1/4" gas inlet and outlet with needle valves. 
  • KF25 port for a high vacuum pressure gauge. 
Temperature Controller
  • Proportional–integral–derivative control (PID control) and auto-tune function
  • 30 segments programmed with ramping, cooling, and dwelling steps
  • Built-in over-temperature alarm and thermocouple failure alarm
  • +/- 1 ºC temperature control accuracy
  • THE Default DB9 PC communication port is included for connecting to a PC
  • Eurotherm Temperature Controller is available at an extra cost with +/-0.1°C accuracy. 
  • Type K thermocouple


Vacuum Pressure
  • Vacuum Level is dependent on the vacuum pump used, 
    • 10-2 torr via a mechanical pump 
    • 10-6 torr via turbo-pump
